The Seneca Siberian Husky Club serves dog fanciers in the western NY area.
Headquartered in Rochester, NY, the club was founded in 1972
by a small, but dedicated group of Siberian Husky owners.
Its main purpose continues to be protecting the natural qualities and working
nature of the pure bred Siberian Husky, while supporting education
of present and future Siberian Husky owners.
Through long hours of work and preparation the Seneca Siberian Husky Club
received approval in 1985 to hold AKC sanctioned specialty shows.
Each May we hold our  annual specialty show.
It has become a wonderful western NY tradition much anticipated
by fanciers across the area.
We also have an annual sled dog race in January or February (snow permitting!)
We encourage members to participate and have fun.
We provide many enjoyable activities for owner and dog!
The club also publishes a bimonthly newsletter
"The Lead and Line".
